Legal Notice

Anyone interested in providing evidence to the Collective Action lawsuit is invited to register their online interest here. We are inviting public input as long as people are prepared to submit claims and at the appropriate time we will begin the process of formulating our legal strategy. There is no minimum or maximum number of claims required to be involved with The CAST.

The CAST maintains that the Collective Action lawsuit is the most prudent means to deal with alleged violations by public authorities in Bermuda under the Emergency Powers Act 1963 and the Public Health Act 1949, and all grievances need to be certified under basic principles of natural justice and the rule of law. Until certification occurs, you are not represented by an attorney. If you choose to take no action, you can remain an absent member of The CAST.

Anyone interested in being a part of this process is encouraged to seek independent legal advice when deciding if they should divulge privileged information.
